Req # 115:Project Manager Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 1 year Description/Required Skills: - Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple technical disciplines. - Uses Microsoft Project, and analyzes data in Excel and presents in PowerPoint - Project Manager with 5 to 10 years of experience, financial background desirable. - Proven track record leading medium to complex system projects using a solid PM methodology. - Handles all PM responsibilities such as risk and issues management, communications, status reporting and issue elevation to keep project on schedule, scope and budget. - Knowledge of MS Project important. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to work effectively under deadlines. - Ability to lead teams. - Demonstrated, effective problem solving skills. - Ability to negotiate effectively. - Ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Candidate should also be able to perform in a business systems analyst role and have proven experience in writing effective business requirements, applying integrative thinking to solve business problems and analyzing information to obtain the best solution for the customers. ----------
